Pathlight
Accessibility
Pathlight should remain quiet, readable, and usable.
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Accessibility intent
Pathlight aims to support a calm and accessible experience across the app and website. Accessibility is part of the product design, not a separate layer.
Reduced motion
The website respects prefers-reduced-motion. In reduced-motion mode, large animation and ripple movement are disabled while the visual identity remains present.
The app also includes reduce motion preferences.
Readability and contrast
The website uses a dark visual system with soft white text and muted secondary text. Important legal and support content is displayed as readable text, not hidden behind animation.
Keyboard and screen reader intent
Website links are designed to be keyboard accessible, with visible focus states. Essential app controls should have meaningful labels for assistive technologies.
No colour-only meaning
Pathlight should not rely on colour alone to communicate important states. Yes and Not today are both valid responses and should not be presented as success or failure colours.
Report an accessibility issue
Email support@pathlight.uk with accessibility feedback. Include the device, iOS version, app or page, and a short description of the issue if you can.
We do not claim formal WCAG conformance until a dedicated accessibility audit has been completed.
